Reflective Narrative:
WLC 300 which is World Language and Culture Proseminar helps accomplish the outcomes of MLO 6: Information and Technology Literacy. Throughout this course we are taught a plethora of things related to the enactments of our careers, such as creating a resume, making a personal statement, and developing our own electronic footprint. As stated, before we accomplished several assignments such as our personal statements, a small saying to talk about our expenses in our majors. These assignments are the bases in accomplishing our Capstone project. I start to see the beginnings of entering the real world. Little by little our work styles change to compensate for our futures. This course helps a lot by giving us a chance to talk to individuals who were in the same major program as us and see where they started and got to where they are right now. I wish to gain more experience in general. If I can attend more events or even get a job that can be a worthwhile contribution to making a better resume. As far as I understand I have not taken a course that covers similar topics to WLC 300. Most of my other courses that I take for my Spanish major cover things about language and culture, and rarely take a closer look at the more industrial aspects of certain topics. I should look more into how to develop a better resume, maybe start to practice on my skills. Anything that can certainly help me in the future.
